The reason why there is alot of noise is because you didn't use a DSL filter. I had the same problem then remembered i didnt' hook up a DSL filter to it. I just tried it and it works great now. I gave it 4 stars because i haven't used it for very long. But so far so good. I hope this help you get clearity on why there is alot alot of noise when messages are being recorded and playback!!!
